“A sweet friendship refreshes the soul.” Proverbs 27:9 

Isn’t it so beautiful to have friendships that are so refreshing? I love this verse so much! To know you can sit with a friend and have real conversations, share life with them in open communication, to trust that what is said is true and honest... AND feel loved, accepted and cherished...  going BOTH ways, that is such a blessing from God!

Time doesn’t matter, distance doesn’t matter... it’s friendship that goes beyond miles or years or limits. 

Friends, God knows our desire for connection... because He put that desire in us! He knows our hearts and our longing for this type of companionship...So ask Him for this.   Pray for this.  Be this friend. 💕

Luke 6:31 says this: “Do to others as you would have them do to you.”  I think I’ve said this to my girls countless times as they’ve grown up, but it’s so important for us to remember, and live out. Yes, sometimes friendships can hurt, and sometimes we blow it and hurt our friends.  Any time you’re in community with others, there will be failures, because we are imperfect people. But don’t shy away from saying you’re sorry and asking for forgiveness.  Be the friend you want to have. And don’t shy away from seeking out Godly friendships. True friendship is so sweet, it refreshes the soul.  So thankful for the treasure of friendship. 💕
