My heart for you...

I’m saddened by today’s events and want to take a few minutes and use this platform to share my heart. You know I’m long winded, so if you would indulge me I’d be so grateful. I also know this may not be what you want to hear, and that is ok too. This is what the Lord put on my heart to share and so that is what I am doing.

First off, I love my friends and family whatever side of the aisle you lean. I will pray for you when you ask me to, when the Lord puts you on my heart I will pray for you and I will help you when you need help.

This world we live in is in turmoil and we could spend all day blaming sides, getting angry at each other and fighting about what is right and wrong… which is exactly what the enemy wants.

But know this from Gods Word:

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12

We are living in the last days friends. Satan wants us to fight against each other instead of gathering together.  He wants division vs peace.  He wants sin to rule this world. And I would be a terrible follower of Christ if I did not share with you the HOPE we can ALL have in a Savior that came to save us from sin & darkness.  His name is Jesus Christ and He bore the sins of all, that we might see God’s love for us and turn from our sin. And it would be remiss of me not to tell you that God is faithful, even when we are faithless. That He is our only help in times of trouble. That Jesus was and is and will ALWAYS be the answer! That you and I can go straight to the Father and pray, any where and at any time.

So would you pray with me:

“if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” II Chronicles 7:14

Yes, I could give you my opinions and get all upset and cry (which I’ve done all day) and share proof of the sad state we are at in our country... but instead I want to be that light in the darkness that God’s Word talks about. I desire to share the GOOD news, the hope to which we can put our trust in. I will always aspire to speak truth in love. I will fail and I will mess it up royally many times, but it is the grace of God that makes a life worth living possible! It is the love of God that made a way for His grace to pierce our transgressions and make our sins as white as snow.

““Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the LORD, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.” Isaiah 1:18

“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5

By the way these last two verses are in the Old Testament. Talking about the coming of Jesus, predicting His saving power centuries before it happened. Please know that Jesus is the theme and reason for the entire Bible.

So friends, I’m going to gently remind you to look at the big picture. Know where your heart stands. Be confident in the HOPE we can have in Jesus. Open God’s Word and seek Him. Ask Him into every part of your life.  Let a relationship with the One who came to bring HOPE & LIFE fill your heart with joy!(John 10:10)

There will come a time when it will be too late...

““And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”” Luke 21:25-28

It’s a choice. A choice to believe and not to believe. It’s a choice to be a light in the darkness of this world. But know this: Jesus didn’t die and rise again for no reason or purpose. He wasn’t just a good man or teacher.

And like C.S. Lewis says in “Mere Christianity”:

“I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: I’m ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don’t accept his claim to be God. That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic — on the level with the man who says he is a poached egg — or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God, or else a madman or something worse. You can shut him up for a fool, you can spit at him and kill him as a demon or you can fall at his feet and call him Lord and God, but let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about his being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to.”

Choose Jesus my friends... and let’s be a light in this dark world together.

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16

If you want this relationship, it’s very simple to ask Jesus into your heart.

Read John 3:16-17: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”

If this is all too much for you, know that I still love you and care about you. I will always be here if you have questions or doubts or want prayer. You can ask for prayer or leave a comment here or via our contact page and it will always be kept confidential.

But know that there is someone you can turn to that is always there for you, 24/7, even in your doubts or fears or anger. His name is Jesus Christ and I hope you know He loves you with an everlasting love.

“The Lord appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.” Jeremiah 31:3

Love to all,
