The Art of Sharing Your Story...

Our 2022 Creative Retreat’s theme is…

I truly believe that in the world we live, especially in light of all the challenges we face these days:

~ We need to quiet the noise, listen to the voice of God and be a light in the darkness

~ We need to find creative ways to share the GOOD NEWS that God is doing so the world may know HIM.

~ We need to ask how we can be image bearers that can artfully connect God’s beauty and love through our testimonies.

How can we share the story He is writing in our lives, so we can bring others along on the journey and find Jesus?

This is just a little of what we will artfully explore together all year long at our retreats! We will be doing this through art classes, photography, journaling, devotional time, nature walks and time in God’s Word.

Here are two verses at the heart of this theme:

1 Chronicles 16:8 says:  “Oh give thanks to the Lord, call upon His name, make known His deeds among the peoples!”

1 Peter 3:15 also says:  “But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the HOPE that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,”

Sharing our testimony… what God has and is doing in our lives… so that, others may see and know Him!

It is important, and beautiful, and life giving.

We can’t wait to spend time with you and see what God wants to do in our lives with this theme. Our heart is to encourage you, come along side you and share creative ways to go forward in this so we can all go back home and heed the call of the Gospel message in our homes, our families and our communities!

Will you consider joining us?

Our Vail, Colorado and Woodstock, Vermont retreats still have some space left.

We will send out the itinerary for each retreat, and details of each class, to all those who’ve signed up. If you’d like to find out more or register to join us, you can find all the details HERE.

Have a GREAT day everyone!

Hugs,

Laura McCollough
