Sometimes we just don’t know what to do…

Last Sunday this was the title of the message we listened to online because we were battling sickness and just plain exhausted.

But God knew we needed to hear this exact word.

Friends… There’s a battle for our hearts and souls. The enemy is a roaring lion who doesn’t want us to succeed in Christ.  It’s real, and sometimes we just don’t know what to do. Someday, after this move and after our retreat, I’ll share more of what God has been doing through all the trials and the “I don’t knows” because these last few weeks have been a whopper!

In the meantime, let me draw you to Psalm 143, the title says “A cry for help.” Take time to read the whole chapter this morning.  And spend time in prayer.

“Hear my prayer, O Lord; give ear to my pleas for mercy! In your faithfulness answer me, in your righteousness!” Psalm 143:1

“Teach me to do your will, for you are my God! Let your good Spirit lead me on level ground!” Psalm 143:10

If you don’t know what to do either… pray!

As believers in Jesus Christ we need to remember that we have the power of the Holy Spirit inside of us! And He will equip us and lead us to walk in His light no matter where we go, no matter how dark this world is, and no matter what the enemy tries to do. So ask Him to help you! He is so faithful. 🙌🏻

And let’s remind each other of this beautiful verse today:

“Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” 1 John 4:4

What joy to know God is with us, He wants to lead us, and He gives us the power to take His light into the world, so others can see there is something greater than the darkness… and His name is Jesus!

I’ll be sending out another email newsletter in a few days with updates on our future retreats, so stay tuned!

Hugs to all,

Laura
