Faith-Filled Creativity:  A place to be still, connect & rediscover God’s unique & beautiful story of you.

My art and faith retreats are created with your needs in mind.

What is Art & Faith Creative?

My retreats are a little different to the normal art retreats you can attend. They not only combine, travel, creativity and community, but they also connect you with the people of these places who have become lifelong friends of ours.

We also encourage the relationship between art and faith. Our hope is that you’ll be inspired to draw closer to the Lord through the connection between our Creator God and the creativity He inspires in us.

We want you to feel loved, served and encouraged in these places.

So that… you’ll remember this retreat as one of the best weeks of your life…

Are you looking for a way to step away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with your faith? Do you want to spend time with other like-minded women who are also passionate about art and creativity? Do you long to have time in God’s Word so you can discern His next steps for your life?

Art & Faith Creative retreats offer the perfect opportunity to do just that!

Immerse yourself in God’s creation, awaken your creativity and seek direction for this new chapter of life you may be in. Join other women like you who are seeking clarity, guidance and encouragement in what God is calling you to do next. Maybe you’ve just finished raising your kids, or you want to change the direction of your career. You might be in need of new friendships with like-minded believers. Perhaps you’re looking for guidance on how to help others see what God has for them too. I understand all these desires from first-hand experience, and I know how creativity can be such a powerful tool for connecting with our Creator and finding a community of women who can encourage each other in the goodness of God.

Art and Faith Creative Retreats - Woodstock USA - Laura McCollough

Dear Friend,

My retreats are held in beautiful locations around the world, including Bellagio, Italy, Paris, France and Woodstock, Vermont, each with its own unique theme. Some of the themes have included "Let us be Found Faithful," "Setting the Table”, and "The Art of Sharing Your Story."

All of the retreats include hotel or apartment accommodations, fun tours and excursions, morning Bible devotions, wonderful food, art supplies, creative activities, and plenty of time to relax, shop, and spend time with other women, along with a couple of fun surprises! I also often have a guest teacher join us for our retreats such as Becky Strahle from Farmgirl Paints.

All skill levels are welcome - no prior art experience is required.

I provide all of the necessary art supplies, and I will always guide you through each step of the creative process, so please don’t worry if you haven’t picked up a paintbrush since junior high. (Many women tell me this!)

Whether you're a seasoned artist or a beginner, you're sure to have a fun and richly rewarding experience at my retreats.

Sheila - Kind Words - Art and Faith Creative

Sheila

If you’re on the fence about any retreat hosted by Laura McCollough, let me tell you: you won’t regret it and you can’t go wrong. Laura is someone who deeply cares that each woman experiences something akin to dreams come true at her retreats. She calls upon every resource - she goes all-out to try to make sure that you not only experience the destination, and experience art-making...but that you also experience something deep and special in your walk with the Lord. In a time when art retreats can be a mixed bag of experiences, not always honoring of faith, your love for Jesus Christ will be respected, even honored and allowed to deepen. Please, just go!”
