Merry Christmas from Art & Faith Creative…
I wanted to take a moment to wish each one of you a very Merry Christmas!
It has been such a joy to meet you in Italy this year, or to chat with you online, and to go through our “Advent December Daily” with all that joined in! My prayer is that I could have encouraged you in some small way to walk by FAITH, not by sight this year. (2 Corinthians 5:7)
I want you to know that you all have made my year better for knowing you, and you’ve added to my life in ways that I know the Lord will continue to show in the years to come!
And, it has been such an honor to walk alongside each one of you that has joined me on my retreats. To get to know you even more as we’ve drawn closer to the Lord through our time in His Word, to explore Italy and create from the inspiration of our Creator and the beauty of Lake Como, Italy have been a HUGE blessing to me this year.
This years devotional “Let us be Found Faithful” has also been such a blessing to go through with so many of you, and to see the faithfulness of God throughout history, as well as in our own lives, is such a wonderful testimony to the world around us of His grace and mercy!
So as we come to the end of 2023, I hope you take time to reflect on what the Lord has done in your life this year, (hopefully you’ve written it down too) and you ponder His gift of salvation that came in the form of an infant in the manger all those years ago, and Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
We have the BEST gift ever, each and every day of our lives, as we realize what Isaiah spoke of 700 years BEFORE Jesus was born:
Isaiah 7:14: “Therefore, the Lord himself will give you a sign: See, the virgin will conceive, have a son, and name him Immanuel.”
Immanuel, which means God with us…
What a comforting word for our Savior, Jesus Christ! What a comforting reminder that God IS with us, every day and every hour. He is there in our trials, He is there in our joys and God Almighty is wanting to fellowship with us today and everyday.
Have a VERY Merry Christmas everyone!
Hugs to all,
Laura McCollough
