You were CREATED on purpose, for purpose...
Wherever you are in this world, whatever you may think about this life and whenever you doubt that you are loved; let me remind you of 2 things:
There’s a WHY and a WHO you need to know about.
The WHY you should always remind yourself of is this: YOU were created on purpose, for purpose.
“For we are his workmanship, CREATED in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10
You weren’t an accident, you aren’t a nobody, and you are someone worthy of love. There is purpose in your life and maybe you just need a little reminder of what that purpose is.
See, our lives were created to give glory to God and shine His light in this world so that others may know and love Him too! It’s so simple, yet so profound, because there are a million ways to “walk in this,”because God is a CREATIVE God! I know, it’s pretty crazy that the God who created us wants to show the world His power & glory through little ol’ you and I, but He does! And He has does this in amazing ways friends, we just need to open up our imagination and see what He has already prepared for us!
But to do all of that, you need to know the WHO I’m talking about... and that my friends is the God who created you. Listen to this:
“For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them. How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! Psalm 139:13-17
That’s the God I know who loves you and I.
Who IS worthy of honor and praise!
Why look to man for answers? Why look to current culture to tell you who you are or what love is?
Remind yourself, when you’re doubting, how He knitted you together in your mother’s womb. There’s so many verses that talk about God’s great love for you, before you were even born! He purposed for you to be alive TODAY, on February 15, 2021.
Tell the world the WHY and the WHO that loves you, and loves them too.
And… Don’t ever forget God’s great love for you.
Have a GREAT Monday everyone!
Hugs,
Laura McCollough
