Lake Como, Italy October 4 - 11, 2025

Thank you so much for your interest in this retreat next October 4-11,2025. I’m so humbled by all the interest and I’m so excited to see what the Lord is going to do in this place! I only have 2 rooms left, and both can be either double or single occupancy. (As of 1/8/25)

Bellagio is made up of about 26 hamlets, but the main area we’ll be in is really only about the size of a large mall.  We are staying in an apartment on the right side of the lake (the Lecco branch) and to get to the city center your walk is about a 10 minute walk, but it is up and down a lot of stair pathways.  There will be times when I have a driver pick us up and take us places, but you will need to be aware right away that this retreat will include cobblestone steps that are from ancient days. I always tell the ladies who sign up to start walking right away to get your body ready for Bellagio (it’s a town made up of an upper and lower village, and you walk everywhere).  With this retreat it will be even more walking because, like I mentioned above, we are about a 10 minute walk into the main part of the town. It’s a beautiful pathway to town, and I promise you will come to LOVE it, but it takes getting in a bit of shape to be ready for it.

This October I want to share a story with you that I think may resonate with you as well. In the fall of 2018, I was right here on the lake, hosting another retreat. But this time I didn’t have my handy helpers (aka my daughters) and I felt out of place a bit. I was nervous I wasn’t going to be able to “do it all”… and I didn’t know if I would have time to be present with each woman who came. ( I always have a heart to make sure everyone is enjoying the retreat and getting all that they want out of their time in Italy.) Well, that week the Lord taught me a lesson that I want to delve into with YOU this year, right where I learned it the first time. I also want this retreat to be a smaller, more intimate setting and that is why I am renting the place where we’re staying. It’s my favorite private cove in Bellagio and I’m pretty sure it will become your favorite place as well. This time away will give us all the space to “Be Still and KNOW that He is God.” (Psalm 45:10) Time to trust God and magnify HIM in our lives! To see that we are not enough, and that’s OK because HE is enough, and He will provide all that we need.

As you read my blog post, I hope you heard my heart to make this retreat a beautiful time of restoration and renewal in our faith, so that we can go forward in what God is calling us to do next. 

So let’s come together this fall and learn God’s Word, trust Him with our next steps and take time to create art from a place of praise and worship!

I’ve rented 3 apartments with 7 bedrooms that we will all be staying in together. The meals listed below include the meals we’ll enjoy out, but since we have full kitchens we can also enjoy preparing some meals together and enjoying the view for our dining room! This retreat is going to be more relaxed, with more free time to create, read a book, wander the cobblestone streets and delve deeper into God’s Word and seek Him.
